Petra and Wadi Rum – 2 Days Tour
Day 1
Drive to the Arava Border at 08:30 A.M, Meet & assist, Visa Formalities, and travel (about 1 hour) to Wadi Rum. In Wadi Rum you shall pass the famous “Seven Pillars of Wisdom” on your way to the Visitors Centre, where you will have a shortstop. Here you will board a local, open jeep escorted by a Bedouin guide to take you out into the desert for two hours. You will visit the Lawrence Spring, the Famous Ghazaly Gorge with its ancient rock inscriptions. At the end of the tour, we drive for about an hour to Petra for check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
Day 2
In the morning a local guide will escort you into Petra and show you the highlights of the Rose Red Nabatean city. You will enter the city through the Siq and be rewarded with the most famous monument in Jordan: the Treasury. You will also visit the theatre, the tombs and façades, the colonnaded street and more… After your visit to Petra, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
We drive back to the Arava Border, where we part from our Jordanian staff, who will also assist you with the formalities. On the Israeli side of the border, our representative will meet you for your transfer back to Eilat.
Visa conditions:
Passengers traveling to Jordan via the Arava crossing will be required to have a Jordanian visa: this can be obtained by our office.
ISRAELI PASSPORT HOLDERS must travel on their Israel passport regardless if they have Dual citizenship
